Getting Ready

So before I start this entry I just want to tell yall that I am so excited for you to be a part of this journey with me and I hope this blog will be something that you will enjoy!  Now I have never written a blog before, actually I don't think I have even ever had a diary! So as you read...this is probably going to sound a little less formal and more how I talk....but I think that will make it more entertaining for you! So with that:

As I continue to anticipate the day that we are to leave, it seems almost foreign to me that this is going to be a reality soon!  It is so exciting, while at the same time kind of scary.

Many of you know that my roomie, Lauren, is going to be heading down to Belize as well for a couple months.  Right now we are trying to get ready, thinking of what we need.  I mean we have the obvious items....a air mattress, pillow, clothes, ect....but also trying to think of the non conventional items as well.  For example, the other day I was thinking it would be a good idea to get 2 of those "5 gallon water jugs" and use one for purified water, but the other one....ready for this? I was thinking that we could get some sort of funnel so that when it is raining outside we can collect rainwater for washing and such.  I know your probably thinking, "Yeah Tati." But I was like this is such a good idea! haha I will keep you posted on how that works out!

The plan is as of right now, to leave sometime the middle of January.  We are going to meet a friend of mine that I know from Belize.  He is going to fly into the States and then we will meet him and follow him back through Mexico.  We are as of right now waiting to hear details, and this is just part of the process in trusting!  As many of you know me, I am a HUGE planner so this is good, this is good for me!

Also a little update on everything with the Mina Project:
(see the "Partner with Me" tab for more info)

Mina Money Sent Out: $330
Multiplied Return: $480
This is only 6 out of 33 envelopes sent out!
The Lord is so good and I am so thankful for all of you that have participated and I am so excited to get the rest of the envelopes when I get back to Georgia!

Well I best be going now, I hope you yall have a great Christmas! Love you lots!

The Journey

As I was in Belize this summer, the Lord had shared with me a few things He wanted the 6 months to look like. From the Lord ‘s voice and other people I heard: teaching on encountering the Lord, Experiencing Signs and Wonders, Development towards the orphanage, Focusing on the tool of Inner Healing with Individuals, help create community and train up leaders, Living at an orphanage for some time, Prayer without Ceasing, bringing a team down to rally pastors together to experience the Shekinah Glory, and much more! And as I drive to Belize in January, I know and am having faith the Lord will provide all I need, as this is a lesson I know we all try to remember every day.

As I go on this adventure, I am so excited for yall to share this with me.  I am thankful and feel so blessed for how much support you have shown me.  I would not be able to do this without all that you have deposited in the Spirit.  I truly feel as though I am taking each and every one of you wiht me and we are going to do this together!
So this blog is going to be my way to be able to communicate to yall and let you know what the Lord has been doing, what I have been learning and hopefully you will enjoy the journey with me!

Thank you so much! I love yall so dearly!
